Hi guys,

Just bought 54 3.0se and I'm over the bloody moon with it! The forum is superb and as my contribution, I am an MOT tester and Authorised Examiner
with over 25 years experience (with extensive BMW experience), so if anybody has any MOT related questions I will endevour to help.

Cheers

Look forward to the pictures - where in the UK?
And now that you mention it, I do have an MOT question - as I'm running wheels with a larger offset than normal (M wheels on a non-M) they stick out from the bodywork a fraction. Is that OK?

Interesting one, I have "things" on my SLK and the wheels don't really stick out at all, they were not on early cars but then added in later.

Hi from Canada, I don't have to MOT anything so I won't be asking that type of question at all
Need some pics though......

FYI - Got a reply via e-mail ( ), and thought I'd post it up here for others to read. "No problem would not constitute an RfR (reason for refusal), providing nopart of the wheel or tyre fouls anypart of the vehicle. However this is covered under construction and useregs (used by plod), I am not fully conversant with these so I would check!". Wonder if Pawn knows?
