My name is Pat and I live in Bastrop, Texas which is about 30 miles N/E of Austin. I had a 2001 Z3 3.0i for several years until a girlfriend talked me into trading it in on an SUV so other people could ride with us. I no longer have that girlfriend, life is short, and therefore, why should my daily driver be an SUV when I can have a sports car. So, I recently traded the SUV in on my 2015 Z4 28i which y'all know is a fun car, and I'm enjoying driving everyday. It took a little time to get use to the iDrive, but I now like it. I also like the internal 12 GB hard disc that makes it possible to store my music and not need to take my ipod. I belong to a classic car club whose members have all kinds of classic and performance vehicles. There are only three other BMW in the club with one being a black, 2007 Z4 M Coupe with the S54 engine and 6 speed manual. My classic club vehicle is a 1976 restomod Corvette that I have owned since 2010. It would seen from the short time I've had access to this forum that Z3s and Z4s are popular cars in England. It is nice to be on a forum that is international making it possible to interact with people from other countries. That is not the usual case with the Corvette forum. I'm looking forward to gaining information and having interesting interactions on this forum.
