New member looking to update z4

Hi,

Thought I'd introduce myself and it's time to update my z4.

I bought the car last year as a stop gap while waiting on delivery of a new 330d and decided to keep the car. It's a
04 2.2 but at the price I was willing to pay and being based in aberdeen not a lot of choice without travelling and didn't have the time.

Would like to start tidying the car up in the next few months so firstly it's getting some paint touched up next week.

Then it's wheels and seats. In need of some leather seats so if anyone has any for sale ( would love red but I know not as common as black)

Did look into upgrading the performance but didn't get much hope of adding too much.(site great for research)

Thinking of getting replica csl, from what I've read bm autosport have a good reputation. Did think about getting a set that I could also use on the 3 series for winter tyres but the snow has never arrived.

Upgrade steering wheel,Royal steering wheels great value,gear knob and handbrake lever all very cost effective and transform driving experience :thumbsup:

A stubby is a nice cheap and easy update, so is a set of Mmachine Monkeys stainless steel exhaust tips :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
 
Thanks for all the feedback.

Must admit steering wheel was 1st thing done. Couldn't believe how horrible a plastic steering wheel was.

Might look at suspension and brakes but wil focus on the some cosmetics first so wheels, seats and a good set of tyres.
