New Member from Sunny Dundee

Hi all,

First Z4 and convertible for me! I got a 23i E89 with 65k on the clock and I'm only the third owner.

Thanks to @True-Blue for the wheels (as it had 292s on) and sorry it took so long to get them on, was getting one of them refurbished. 8)

It's about to be garaged and only out on very sunny but crisp days, unfortunately I've not managed to drive it a lot since I got it due to the horrific weather. When I have though it's absolutely unreal. Love it!

Spent a week up your neck of the woods earlier in the year. Lovely part of the world

Welcome aboard.
And congratulations on being the first person ever to put 'sunny' and 'Dundee' in the same sentence. :poke: :D

Hi and welcome to the forum.

It looks like you have a red interior and I really like those wheels - they look like 295s. I had a set on my previous Z4 and they are so easy to clean!

Welcome. Nice Z there, can't beat the Red and Black combo.
Hopefully you get some more use out of it soon, the weather has turned for the worse in recent weeks.
Enjoy it when you can :driving:

Welcome to the forum, sharp lookin zed and as said above, those wheels look nice with black.

Hello and welcome from another Scottish member, from the better side of the country though

Lovely looking Zed and the new wheels sit well on it

Congratulations, 23is are a brilliant car. Just drove mine a couple of weeks ago from Glasgow to London and back and it was faultless, not bad for 13 years old. Considered those wheels for mine, look good I was in Dundee last weekend picking up my winter run a round so that the z can snooze in its garage over the winter 😀

You misspelled wetter mate. :P

Thanks for all the nice comments and warm welcomes! Look forward to posting on the board. 8)

Yes think I've cursed myself calling it 'Sunny Dundee', torrential rain outside as I type this...

The wheels are indeed 295's and they make an unbelievable difference to the look of the car compared to the 292s that were on it. The previous owner lowered it a little as well and did some other nice touches like stubby aerial and updated side indicators.

Shame I can't see it under it's cover whilst I clean the garage out!
