New Member collecting my Z4 This Thursday 03.10.2013

Hello all,
I have been driving a 3 series e90 320d for the last 4 years (fantastic car) and now the kids are getting there own cars its time for some fun so picking up my Z4 2.0i sport 2006 on Thursday with 47k on the clock.

I covered 160k in the e90 and am hoping to have the same hassle free motoring in Z4

Thanks to all the welcome messages :) now got the car and well one word 'Fantastic' we are going to the Ponderosa Cafe on the Horseshoe Pass tomorrow, have already covered some miles as i am using it for work anticipate on doing about 20k a year so will keep you all posted with things that go wrong and costs accordingly.

It is running Bridgestone Potenza tyres all round with 7mm on so must have just been fitted and so far i am very impressed in the wet and well in the dry it is like its on rales.

have been to BMW today and sorted the code out for the phone well impressed with the service as usual from BMW and the phone is now paired and working extremely well.

I will have to sort out some pics when i can suss it out, details are as follows silver z4 2006 2.0i sport & i'm feeling 20 years younger every time I'm behind the wheel lol.

That looks great picked mine up a year ago almost to the day 5th. Hope you have my ups of zed motoring :thumbsup: I had a few downs but they are mostly my doing!!!!
 
Well picked up the Z4 on Thursday and today Sunday have covered 600 miles, i'm hoping not to run into to many problems but it will be used so i will keep you all posted with any problems i have.

spent the day around Wales today and am very impressed it handles like a go cart, so far i can not fault it.

Its got big boots to fill as I have been driving the E90 320d for the last 4 years @ covered 70k in it and loved that too.

I have always had bikes with one in the garage and wanted something that would be as much fun as the bike with the practicability of a car and the Z4 is ticking all the boxes BIG SMILES :rofl:
 
well had the z4 just over a week done 800 miles in it and got the exhaust light on the dashboard :(

Taking it back to the garage tomorrow morning booked in for 9:30am, just glad its got 30 days guarantee
