Why move the roof motor? it seems to be working perfectly well where it is (wherever that is).

Nothing to panic about, but they are the one Achilles heel that the Z4 Roadster has. Like Marlon suggested read a few related threads on roof motors. But don't lose any sleep, enjoy your new P&J. :thumbsup:

As you have discovered, you would think that the Forum was a front for crazy people to be promoting every Zed mod known to mankind!

For what it's worth I wouldn't contemplate having my roof motor moved as a preventative measure. Better to periodically check that your roof drain holes are clear.. Marlon was too modest to refer you to his post on how to clear without even jacking the car up - but worth finding and doing.
