New headlamp washers & hose fitted --Help!!--

Hi guys,

I've just had the bumper off and fitted new headlamp washers and hoses.

When the lights are on and I activate the washers, screen washers work fine, headlamp washer motor activates for about a second then off then on for another second. Nothing comes out though!! I'm assuming its because there needs to be pressure in those hoses and maybe theres a function to put it in to 'test mode' or something to get the motor to run for longer to fill the pipes.

Any ideas anyone?

Disconect the windscreen washer pump, then keep using the headlight washer by turnin ignition on spray, off on spray and so on obviously with lights in, takes 5 to 10 mins!
 
Superstar!! Thanks mate I'll do that later. Also, my washer bottle warning light is staying on on the dashboard. Any idea why that is?
