Retired and living in Ontario Canada. I have dreamed of owning a Zed since they first came out. It has been a quite a while since I was sixteen with a 1964 MG Midget in which I froze a lot in the winter. I decided to bid at auction in the fall of 2019 and do a project car; if I could find a low mileage decent history car.
Long story short is that I got a Florida car that a truck backed into the drivers side front just as it was being stored away for the winter. Hood, fender, headlight, bumper cover and a fair amount of plastic parts needed to be replaced or repaired. Given the cost of parts, the car was written off. But no airbags deployed or structural damage.
End result is a great 2008 3.0si Titanium Silver, Black leather interior, Aluminum trim, Auto trans and Premium package with approx 90k km.
I look forward to the continued great advice and DYI that the forum has provided me for many months now.
