New exhaust

Hi everyone,
Just fitted a new exhaust on my 2007 3.0si and wanted to share.
It's a Supersprint racing back box with a mid Y pipe.

Love the Sound, it's not to loud, nut has a nice grunt to it. And no drone on motorway :D

Sounds good - did you buy direct then get someone to fit it or do you have a Supersprint retailer near you?

It looks like that rear tyre might have limited life remaining unless it's the way it has photographed.

There is nothing as nice as getting the sound you like. Got my E85 2008 si new, and ordered a Stebro. Came from a dealer in Canada, who was testing the fit on Z4's and I had to wait several weeks. Shipped across border and got it installed and have as they say, never looked back. Those around me here (USA), want it dearly...and I let them know, I will sell the Stebro for the thousands, and throw in the Zed. Bests with the new sound....sports cars ought to make decent sound showing,,,,and as Mario says, if you can't hear going around the corner, but what it that.

Bought it from Shmiedmann.com, they are a BMW part specialist. Took nearly two months to receive it as the part had to be made to order by Supersprint and then shipped. I think they ship globaly, but I could be wrong. It was actually cheaper then buying directly from Supersprint.
Fitting was done by local garage, really cheap £40.

Yeah the tyre is gone, away to buy new ones, well spotted

And yes, the sound is well worth the money

Looks great! Have you noticed a sound change at all? The SS set up goes to single pipe after the front resonator and removes that little cross over thing between front and rear resonators. I’ve got an Eisenmann race and love it, although am booked in for the mid resonator to be removed for a bit more noise. Like your SS, it’s not actually that loud considering it’s ‘race’ designation.

It's definitely louder, especially during higher revs. Haven't said that, thought it will be louder. Overall I'm really happy with it, think it strikes a nice balance.
Used to love my friend's Miltek in his Rs4, but now I think it's a bit annoying.
Don't know, maybe I'm getting old :D
I'll try to record some more videos when I'll get a chance.
