Welcome
Just like you I almost went for a TT. So glad I bought the Z4C instead

The TT is a good looking car in real life but it certainly isn't a head turner like the Z is. Obviously on the MK2 the interior is much more modern than on the Z and the car is more practical too. I'm getting about 30mpg from my Z, so my biggest concern of terrible fuel economy compared with the Audi is probably unfounded as I doubt the 2.0 TFSI would be much better than that for the type of driving I do.

My previous car was an A6 3.0 TDi Quattro but after deciding I know longer needed a big cruiser I intended to buy a 3.2 TT Quattro.
I looked at a couple but there was nothing really grabbing me when I drove them. Totally different experience with the Zed.
Economy wise I'm not fussed to be honest, I drive a Transit for work so it's a weekend toy to put smile on my face, and to find any excuse to go out for a spin. :driving:

Just joined the forum as I've started a hunt for a Z4C and this seems far and above the best place out there for information ...incredibly envious to see you've found exactly the colour and wheel combination I've been thinking looks best! Stunning, congratulations, hope you really enjoy it!

Welcome to the forum - E86 is the way to go!

You need to try before you buy if you can - Sport seats are a real plus (standard on Sport models, a (rare) option on SEs).

I love the red leather seats but they only really work with silver or black paint and I wanted mine to be a colour, so I got Montego Blue with Pearl Grey interior!

When you find one please remember we like photos, so here are a couple of mine!

Thanks! Stunning motor - enjoying that a lot!

Definitely want to try, have been having a look at what's available near me recently and certainly hoping to get and see a couple soon

From a few hours browsing here the wishlist of spec is already growing! Think I have a pretty good idea, finding the right one may be a challenge

Anyway - sorry for hijacking the thread - beautiful car OP, massive congratulations!

Another pic, not the best quality from my phone unfortunately

Looking good OP, and I love those wheels - they seem to suit the car so well.

Nice looking coop!
Just wondering how that Bluetooth receiver works, i have an aux in cable, is it just a case of using an adapter with female at both ends?

It has an AUX jack on one side. The AUX jack plugs directly into the AUX socket.

There is a button that you push to switch it on - once it is one audio will stream from your phone to the unit and will play through the AUX socket.

There is an internal battery so it doesn't need to be connected to a power source, however, it can be plugged in to charge - battery is around 4 hours.
