Well more expensive to start with.

That's because Imola Red was only avaiable on the M models, the other Z4s came in what BMW called HellRot which is nice but isn't Imola!

Here's a HellRot one I spotted a couple of years ago.

Yes definitely prefer the Imola. Looks a darker, richer shade. Might be the pic but dare I say the Hellrot looks almost....pink! I am well overdue a trip to specsavers mind!
