New coupe owner, old forum member

Hi guys
ive recently purchased a Z4 coupe 3.0 si, after owning a 2.2 convertible a few years ago.
I have a few random question im hoping somebody might be able to answer....:
I paid 10k for a 57 plate with 90k miles, it has full history and seems to have pretty much every upgrade, is that a fair price ?

Within a week of owning i have managed to crack and destroy the chrome grill surround, ive removed the grill itself and that seems to be intact, but the chrome surround as snapped, can you replace that part only, or do i need to buy the whole thing ?

The car is an automatic, the gear shifter is in cr@ppy condition and id like to change, is that possible ?

Lastly the cooling level light is coming on when turn on car, it only stays on for a few seconds then goes away, is this a serious issue ?

Sorry I can't help with your questions, and your profile doesn't say where you are but you could have bought my Z4C with 61K and full BMWSH for less than that, although it has a few extras missing ( pdc, multi-function steering wheel, cruise control, etc)!

But enjoy your Z4 in the rain - Coupe speciality, as it has a roof!

Forgive me for saying that it's a bit late asking for a view on the price after you've bought it. For your info, I paid the same price 10 months ago for a fully specced Coupe with 42,000 miles from a dealer. However, if you are happy with the car and what you paid, then that is all that matters.

I think non-OE grills are available on EBay for a reasonable price as are replacement gear selectors.

Not sure about the cooling light - does it need topping up?
