Am about to order new car - 330D M SPort - not sure which colour combination. The body colours I like are the Estoril Blue and the Mineral Grey. But seat colours are limited, so do I take the blue with 'Oyster' seats or the grey with Coral (red) seats? Any views?
Great - I'm tending that way too, partly because I'm a little uncertain about living with Oyster seats (i.e. keeping them clean) and partly because I'm not sure if I'd get tired of the EB body. The grey is really nice 'in the flesh' and the red seats a little 'sportier' than the oyster.
I hadn't thought of the EB being common, but now you mention it, I have seen quite a few.
Estoril beach was where I first discovered topless female sunbathing. Great memories.
Sentiment aside, I'd go EB/coral if it's possible - I like that it's different. But then I like interlagos blue paint and imola seats in a Z but most others hate it, so don't listen to me
on a technical front, I see my pictures have disappeared, after I had a spring-clean of my photobucket library. I assumed I had downloaded them permanently, but when I copy pictures from photobucket, is it just linking me?
Company car - if you intend on falling in love with it, get the EB.
If you intend on treating it as all company cars should be treated, then get grey/silver,then it won't look as dirty, as once a service is plenty of cleaning for a company car.
I'm fed up of washing my black leasemobile.
Thanks - in future I'll not delete the pics, but this time round I'll leave it.
As for the colour, I've gone for the Grey/Red combo. I love the EB colour, also the red seats, but in my view this ('superman') combination is too bling. The Mineral grey is still quite nice, especially when show-room shiny, and works really well with the red seats.
I'm not great at cleaning my daily driver (especially in winter, when it just gets crapped up again), so will see how long the enthusiasm of cleaning a new car lasts!
