New clutch judder

Read the threads on clutch judder. My clutch was slipping so I've just had the clutch and dmf replaced
No more slipping.

However, now, the clutch judders when pulling away from standing. Is this just a bedding in thing or does it warrant taking back to the mechanic?
Advice welcome, please.

Take it back and no doubt he will says it just needs bedding in. If it was a brand new car it wouldn't judder though....
It could be contaminated with oil or perhaps he didn't degrease the pressure plate? Whatever, its not right.

Thanks for your advice, Rockhopper.
Looked on other user groups and, while some say 'let it bed in', more say take it back. Think I'll phone the mechanic on Mon.

So I went for a drive yesterday and the judder has now gone. So I guess that there can be a 'bedding in' period and it is worth taking it steady and holding fire for a while.

Every day with this car is fun and an opportunity to learn!

Just took a day to get the mechanics greasy fingerprints burnt off.
