Hi, I recently became the owner of a Z4

I'm all over the south east, usually Southampton, Shepperton and Hastings, if you see me say Hi!

Used this forum to install and AUX and also clean some clogged up washer jets

Great forum and great members from what I've seen

I have also got a lovely custom cover BUT I've never owned a softtop before, what's the best way to get rid of any mossy patches?

Nice looking zed

There are many threads on the subject if you search, but I stick to Autoglym soft top cleaner which does basically what it says on the packet

It keeps my soft top free of green mold which is very important to me as my zed sits out all year round :D

Hi and welcome. Nice looking car with the classic combination of black roadster with whippy aerial. :)

I am a relatively new Zed owner and have yet to properly clean my roof, but I will be using Autoglym, as recommended by Swiftly and many others.

Nice looking Zed - good to see you have a cover - should help keep water out of the electric motor.

I'm another one who uses the Auto Glym - but don't use too much of the cleaner as it foams up and takes lots of water to wash off. I use old towels and the like to stop the water running down into the electric motor housing. The kit comes with a scrubbing sponge which should help with the cleaning of the moss. Also, the roof treatment tends to run out a lot quicker than the cleaner in the kits.

Welcome to the Forum!

:driving:
