New car park ding

Feeling really pissed off, left the car in a car park today... nice big spaces, came back to find a door crease in the front wing, somebody would have had to let the door swing FULLY open to do it...

Sickening when you go to the trouble to park carefully.

Hope you can get it sorted quickly and cheaply.

I now use the "park on your drive" scheme so I don't have to use car parks. Costs about £3 (so cheaper than the station car park) and it is tucked away on someone's drive.

+1. Parking garages should have proper CCTV or be liable. I never understood how they can charge you to park there but accept no liability for your property while it's there.

Unless i know the destination that i am going to has good parking forget it!.I use the everyday motor cos of to..ers like that. :headbang:

This is why I park far, far, far away from everyone else.
So do I. I'll park way out on the perimeter of a huge lot where there are no other cars, and often come back to find a nice little cluster of cars huddled around mine when half the lot is still empty! At least there'll be one other car parked right next to mine out in a vast expanse of empty parking lot. I think it means that people generally function more on primitive instinct than on reason, and need to huddle or something.

Anyway, yeah, a careless ding like that would have my blood boiling too.
Hope it sorts out easily and inexpensively.

Some people have no respect for other peoples property

:( Sorry to hear dude, have to agree with Swiftlys comment, don't mind someone parking close as not all spaces are supersized, but doesn't take 2secs to be considerate/careful when opening doors.

Hope you can get sorted...

...theres a lot of truth in that

Hate anything like this! People just dont care.

Noticed mine had another one in the door yesterday and appears I've already scraped the front again (after having it re-sprayed a month ago).

Trouble is....these things do happen, unfortunately I feel like it just gets to a point when it becomes a 'tatty, old car'.

I've always thought it's because people who can't park straight need something to line up against - if they park in open space they can't see the lines either side or judge if they've gone too far forward... Hence I can park at the far end of the car park and come out half an hour later to find my car bracketed by crappy Nissan Micras and sheddy Kia's.

Another thing... why do people reverse into supermarket spots? So where are you going to put your shopping people? Oh that's right, in the boot! So they then try to get a full trolly with a wonky wheel round the back of their car, squeezing between the cars either side... :headbang:

I'm the other thought process, people driving forwards into spaces creates the risk for further damage (access to boot in supermarkets notwithstanding). It's alot more difficult to exit when parking forwards and this leads to scuffs, especially where the rows are close together. I can't see the front of the Zed, I always reverse park.
