New car! Now what do I do...

Hi,

I've just bought.... but don't pick up till later this week a 55 2005 2.0 Z4! :D It's a one owner with 120,000 miles... lots of motorway journeys! I'm handy around cars, so as usual with a new car... what do I do now? What mods are useful? What things are useful for preventative measures? What's recommended? I've seen Cruise control can be fitted so I think I'll have to get that! :)

Hi and welcome, don't forget the pics ASAP.

If your desperate to fit CC speak to your local parts department as it's been reported as 3-4 week wait recently for CC stork.

If you need the wiring loom it's about £15 (only got mine last month with no delay)
 
i've just ordered cruise control from bmwministyle.co.uk yesterday and had a email today to say my order has been shipped so doesn't seem to be a delay at the moment

that's not bad, the stork usually takes 9 months :wink:
may be quicker as a stalk isn't as heavy as a baby :poke:
 
Hi and welcome - best mod is depress the drivers seat with backside and get out there and drive it! :D
Oh, and has anyone mentioned photos?
