New Bushes ?

Hi.

1)
I'm looking to replace the bushes on my e85 (wish bones, roll bars, trailing arms, both pairs front & rear)

Has anyone had much experience with the Powerflex Bushes?

Will they affect the ride or are they an improvement over OEM parts?

Not much difference in price so no issues there.

Does anyone know what size I need for the Powerflex front wishbone rear bush ? They come in 60mm or 66mm

Model is 2003 2.5i

Any help appreciated :)

I'm not sure wether to use Powerflex or not considering I'm doing a full replacement.

Also changing my springs at the same time..

Front Rear-wishbone bushes

Im gonna do the others with powerflex when I get the time, I was forced into the wishbone bushes as it failed its mot so I had to do them in the cold on my drive lol

But I quite like them, people moan about harsh ride and squeeks from them I havent noticed either

Are you gonna track it? Get them
Drive it hard? Get them

I have just replaced my front wishbones and mounting bushes all with meyle hd stuff. Gotta say its good quality and I would recommend it, stiffened the steering up alot. Also did the front and rear arb mounts but with poly bushes at the same time. It's made the ride a little harsher but the added feeling out ways that. Just got the rear trailing arm bush to do now. Bought poly for those too so will see what they're like. Overall the poly bushes are good value as they will undoubtedly outlast rubber ones too and they aren't much harsher than standard ime
 
I'm just trying to improve the ride. Accompanying the new bushes will be a new set of springs (either AP or Eibach as don't want to go too low) and eventually some new non run flat tyres.

I'm trying not to abuse the car too much so no track days or driving on the limit, just the odd blat! Just want a better drive on the road that's less jittery.

Think I'm gonna go for the OE lemforder bushes after speaking to a supplier. I'm sure mine need replacing as cars 10 yrs old and also a slight grinding sound near to full lock on the steering. They come with a 2 yr warranty and found a supplier that will do the full kit for <£120 delivered..
