They are EBC RedStuff, to go with the red calipers that I didn't do in the end  Discs are BMW.

It was relatively hard work especially so as I had to drill out the first two disc holding screws, then having decided to clean everything up I thought the calipers would be a real struggle to overpaint so I left them black. After that it was plain sailing except that my ageing body isn't what it used to be :(

and me.... my last attempts at using the stoptech procedure ended up with lots and lots of smoke.... to point where i though my car was going to set on fire!! lol!!

works a charm tho!!

Hmm, stops well now!! Just done the bedding in and a nice cooling off jaunt around bits of Kent.

Slight squeak when braking light in traffic now and the brakes seem to be holding a bit. I have a slight incline on my drive and stopping on there the car doesn't start to roll backwards for a second or so after I release the brake pedal. Any thoughts?

That's a feature. Hill Assist. Stops the car rolling backwards for a couple of seconds.

Ah Cheers. I guess 'RTFM' comes to mind  Mind you it's sometimes difficult to work out which bits of the two manuals are correct for the M.
