Hi guys,

fitted some new MTEC brakes to my car the other week, whilst the wheels where off i cleaned up the callipers and painted them hammerite smooth silver. Unfortunately the hubs oxidised quickly and pretty badly so sorted that out also this weekend by painting them to. Had the wheels all refurbed at my usual local place and they did a great job as always.

finally and the best part, fitted my new coilovers this weekend and shes looking brilliant. Final things to get sorted are some wheel spacers, full alignment and tweak the coilovers to sit 100% to my liking and also fiddle with the damping to get the right ride, compromise between comfort and handling. although just on the ride home at the softest setting they are a lot more forgiving than the standard and the handling is much better, also seems to have sorted a lot of the rear steering (tracks in the road).

Some of my mates cars in the pics aswell and we have all the colours from the M badge!!

enjoy, comments welcome.

Lovely photos and some great metal, the front is just a touch too low for me though!

Thanks Alan

RJS - everyones different, its a touch to high still for my liking ;) haha

Dan - yes its Monaco blue mate, light was very poor so hasnt come out to well though!

Kermit, ive not had them on to long and being completely honest ive hardly driven the car given the recent weather so havent given them to much of a hard time.

whats your thoughts on them having been using them for a while? im guessing you like them if you have gone back?

Cant really beat the value for money on them

Chrissy i think they are 1st class value for money & look great. Performance wise they do the job. Had them on my z3 & 325 a few years ago,So thought i would use them again.Supplied with mintex pads front & rears for £199 ! Cant beat that with a big stick ! Lol Thinking of putting them on my 335d when required. So hope you feel the same.

so far so good and yes as you say for appearance, value for money and seemingly good performance why would you ever stay stock and get ripped off at BM!?!

cheers.
Chris
