Thanks the advice. How many miles or how long did the first set lasted?

I can never seem to get beyond Vreds or Continentals. Both great tyres for the money.

Had Pirelli P Zero on my Merc and they didn't last long. Continentals have been much better.

When I bought the Zed in 2011 it still had the original Conties on it. Hated them, replaced with VREDs, Great tyre bought another set to replace those. Then picked up a bargain set of MPS. Another really good tyre. replaced by a set of MPSS, Best tyres I have tried so far, hence replaced by the current set of MPSS. :D

So the car has had 6 set's of rears since new. Plus a few extra tyres replaced due to punctures, in 60k miles. Fronts last around twice as long.

Definitely I would like to know what you do with your car to replace 6 sets in 6 years.

Simple answer to that one. :driving:

I find Yokohama AD08Rs OK in most conditions. Including snow earlier this year.

Hello there,

got myself a "57" Z4M and the rear tyres are pretty "hard" and lost their stickyness... I am looking at replacing the current Continental with some Michelin PSS (255/40 ZR 18). I am getting a very good price as seemingly they are being phased out. Also good offer on PS4...choices choices

I noticed some of these tyres have an (*) that indicates the BMW approved tyres... is it really a must or would a tyre with same load index be just fine?

Thanks in advance!
