New arrival

Hello everyone,

I'm not of the same generation as most of you so this IT stuff intimidates me. Finally, I was just about ready/able to upload some pics on Z4um...

Bought my Z in March, 2.5si, sport, xenon, hi-fi, leather, hot M seats, M wheel, plus. It's all I need. Went with the stock wheels because as soon as the RFTs wear out I'll replace the lot.

I wanted BRG but it doesn't exist so I decided on Montego blue. Wife wasn't having any of it. She said that if I wanted to show off, I might as well go 100 percent. Besides, my mother died at age 94 still driving a bright red Cougar so 'she would have wanted her son to have a red car'.

Now, let's see if I get this right...

The red Z looks terrific. I wanted red but I just could not find the right deal when I got mine last fall.

You're spot on. Boxers since the early 90s and now the 1200RT, which I just rode to North Cape, Norway. Dare I say she was as comfortable as the Z?
