After what seemed like an eternity looking for wheels. I managed to get the new wheels on the car today. They're different to what I started out looking for, but I am happy with the ALPINA's look. Elegant yet sporty BMW

New wheels and 19 OEM pics. Wanted to show you guys

Very smart and a bit different. Bet they’re beggars to clean.

Marmite for many but personally I love em!
Had some multispoke Rondell Wizards on my old E36 coupe years ago and they made all the difference.
Multispokes a b@stard to clean and keep clean tho. good luck spending an extra 1-2 hours over normal for de-tarring.

Nice wheels, I prefer the original just for cleaning but the new ones suit it well , have you got a picture of the car more side on ? I’d like to see what they look like from there . Thanks

Thanks guys

The sizes are

Front Wheels: 8Jx19 ET36 245x35
Rear Wheels: 9Jx19 ET47 265x30

I thought about the cleaning too. I applied a bottle of C5 wheel armour to the rims before mounting,...fingers crossed.

I only took a few pics today sorry. I will take a side on tomorrow and share it.

I like this one as close up of rear qtr

They DO look nice , and that IS a very good picture  have to admit, very picky about clean rims though, it already takes me an hour just to clean my wheels.... when you think I average 40 miles a week /between washes, think they may cause me to do this :headbang:

Changes the look of the car
On the topic of cleaning I was talking to a guy who had immaculate wire wheels on a MGB.I asked how he cleaned them and kept them looking so good.He used a product called Muc Off.

Thanks for the info.
They look nice. Plenty of tyre width there on those size rims. Think I'll be going for a slight stretched look on my new rims when I get some

Good choice. Had a similar thought pattern. :D

Muc off is a bike cleaner. Never thought of using it on car wheels. I shall give it a try.

Love them. They look fantastic. Only thing I'd do is change the Alpina center caps for BMW ones but purely a personal preference.

Are these from cmwheels?

Here are a few more pics from side and rear.

I had the same thoughts about putting on BMW caps,...but don't think it is possible to take those centre caps off, they are part of the locking mechanism to uncover the air valve thing,...which is unusually located in the centre of the wheel 8)

I quite like them now, they have a nice blue and red design that looks good on the car imo.

Glad to see the likes, thanks guys.
