I traded the M3 for the new Z4 s3.5i but I haven't driven it much yet as I picked it up last night at 4:30. I'm still figuring out all the bells and whistles and seeing how it handles. I only have one decent photo so far, it was dark when I got it home.

Still in the delivery bay, 20 minutes from driving off the lot.

A terrible photo but all I had was a pocket camera .....at least I made it home in one piece.

Update: Had the car 3 days, love it. Almost know how everything works.

It started snowing an hour after I took this photo.....

That looks double sweet!

Only seen one in white over here and really like it. Must be very happy! Been hearing nothing but good things about the new Z!

Love it. When you can, get some photos with the roof down :)

Also, let me know what it's like in comparison to an M3..!?

Great looking car, they look best in white, carbon fibre badges would look cool on it ( i know u got it yesterday but why not start now! :poke: )

very nice, how does it compare to the M?

In comparison to the M, I've only put about 60km on it so far so it's an uneducated opinion (I put 40,000km on the M) :

It's as quick, it feels a little hesitant at first, probably a bit of turbo lag that Im not used to, but I'm still trying to get used to the throttle response.
I took a corner this morning and the lean was enough to make me think I was going to fall out the door but then I hadn't switched to "Sport " setting. (sh*t, I thought I was in my Volvo wagon again, LOL) It feels heavy, not as agile but I'm sure it will be better once I get used to it. It is definitely much easier to drive than the M.

I love the DCT 7 speed.

The Zed is easy to drive "slow" whereas the M only worked well when I drove it hard. I'd say the Zed is a much better choice for all around driving, a "sports car" as opposed to the " racing car" M. Maybe I'll get more than 15k out of a set of tires with this one.....

When I figure out all the controls ( I just found the switch to reset the trip odometer) and learn to drive it, all will be good :D

As for photos with the top down, it's 3 degrees C outside so I'm going to have to wait for a sunny, warm day. (This is Canada eh)

OK, I'm intrigued. I don't do too many mods to my vehicles but what are Carbon fibre badges and where can I see them?

now that i like ! ...there is a black one in the carpark at work and to be honest, it just blends with all the other cars which is a shame. White though is very bold and what the car needs i think...good choice.

I saw one in white a couple of months back, have to say i didn't think it flattered the car much. The dark blue is my favourite with the white leather.

never noticed before, but i love the fact that the (A pillars?) are black, even though the car is white. It makes the roof look like some sort of cap with wrap around glazing - Brilliant.

That does look nice! Side by side at the dealer I chose the black over the white myself, just looked the cooler of the cars when seen together, but the white still looked nice! Those were the only 2 colours I was interested in on the new Z4 to be honest!

I wouldn't count on 15K from a set of rears!! I'm on 8,500 miles and mine are down to around 3.5 mm of tread already!! Got twin turbos... gonna use um!! :P
Don't forget it's got more torque than your old M3!

I meant 15000 kilometers, not miles, I would have been happy with that many miles. I put them on in the Spring and they were on the wear bands last month, ouch!

It's no good having torque if you don't use it.......hence the low mileage on the tires, at $600 a tire , double ouch. I'm looking forward to the same with the new Z.
