Wow, that's a blast from the past.

I think I had my first one of those over 10 years ago. Only probably I had with it was when I went to a fast connection and started using torrents and the number of connections would make it fall over.
 
AAAGH!
Just spent 1/2 a day in the loft/with my hand down the inside of timber frame walls getting some network cables I had lying round from router to study (over 10m, round a couple of brick walls, so poor wifi). Could have used this as a range extender.

they work well, except they appear to have a shelf life - well both of my T-Links died within a day of each other after a year :evil:

I only noticed when I re-cabled from the 2nd LT to Sky and it didn't work :thumbsdown: - checked the one at the router - also dead :headbang:

However, they're good whilst they lasted :thumbsup:
 
Ive had a set of TP-Link ethernet over power for about 4 years and they work great.
Just replaced them with a 2 port with WIFI extender again TP-Link - no more wifi dead spots in the house now :)
