Hi guys

Brother in law is thinking about looking at this. Seems like a nice example but to my eye looks pretty pricey. What do you think?

Cheers :)

It's been up for sale for about 4 months, I was going to look at it before I found mine. The only issue is it's a bit expensive for this time of year.

My car ( same spec ) but black leather and 30k miles was £12k

Do ya'll also think it's quicker to just look at a cockpit shot to determine most of the specs of the car before bothering to read that annoying crap people put on the bottom?

On that note, do ya'll also get ticked off when people put standard options on there? IMO if your buying a car you should damn well do all the research and already know what comes standard.

At any rate, on topic
The red seats are great. Ladies like the red.
I'm 90% certain the 3.0SE is a misprint. It's an 03 so the only options were 2.5 and 3.0i though I guess with the sat nav an all that you could say SE, perhaps it has both the sports and convenience packages?

In the UK, there is no such thing as sport and convenience packages.

If the car is for sale (can never assume as people might not remove the advert), and it has been like that for a long time - you could always offer less. I would expect the car to be between 13 and 14K though.

I have to admit, I so wanted red seats..... Then decided I'd look like a complete idiot with the roof off.

As I said previous I'm sure the car as advertised is great, but I don't see the need to pay 3-4k more for low mileage it's not always a good thing. Lots of short trips can cause more issues than long runs.

Nice car and looks well maintained

I purchased the same car (but with auto that adds £500 to £1000) in April last year for £17k private, same mileage and all the extras claimed (sat nav, Xenons, memory seats, cd player and drivers door - just kiddin') I actually have unlisted extras such as PDC & heated seats

I therefore make this a good £2,000 to £3000 overpriced given the passage of a year, current market climate and time of year to sell

(The badging may be correct if it's an '04 model year - I have the factory brochure and they are all designated SE in it.)

Thanks for your help guys. Much appreciated. :)

Looks like the one above is off the list. Any views on these? Still look a bit pricey to me.

I like the 2nd one...LOL on the first:"Can't fit my mountain bike in the boot" - . Why didn't he think of that before he bought it?

As above keep looking that is over priced for a private sale you could try knocking them down.
