Need help replacing interior lights to LED

Hi guys,

I'm looking to upgrade the interior lighting on my Z4M Coupe to white LEDs. Nothing too powerful, I just don't like the dull yellow light that is emitted from the standard globes.

I undestand that you can get light kits from the likes of Bimmian etc. but, apart from seeming well overpriced, they are also reluctant to ship to AUS. In addition to this, I don't quite have the electronic smarts to be able to individually buy the correct LEDs to replace each globe and ensure they won't let off errors.

I wish to replace...

The centre roof light
The two reading lights next to the centre roof light
The glovebox light
The centre compartment light
The footwell lights
The boot light.

Can anyone help me out here? Does anyone know the type/power/size of LED i need for each application - does anyone know of any ready-to-go kits on ebay? Are the lights the same as the ones used in the E46s (i noticed there were a few kits for them on ebay)

Any help anyone could provide to at least get me started would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Have you run a search? I remember this being covered in detail a long time back.
Btw only one I've seen done looked so bright it could have been an amusement arcade inside

yeh i did a search but couldn't quite find the info i was after.

and that ultra-bright look is definitely not what i'm going for... i just want a more modern white glow as opposed to the outdated yellow look. a little extra brightness wouldn't bother me, but nothing stupid

if anyone has any particular ebay kits they bought off ebay that they could comment on that would be great.
