Need help from technical guys

Have just replaced engine oil and filter but am having difficulty sourcing transmission oil for manual 6 speed gearbox. i decided to ring stratstone in Leeds for spec, quantity and price, store man told me they bought it in bulk with no spec label on drum .. more like was not aloud to divulge, quantity he said was 9 litres !!! and price £37-00 per litre. If any of you technical guys could suggest a good alternative I would be really grateful.

I've recently put Redline in my gearbox and diff. It's made a huge difference to the gear change. It's a lot less notchy.

And my gearbox took 1.5 litres not 9!!!
