Need DICE Help...

Hi Guys,

Purchased the DICE, Installed it lastnight but it's not functioning properly, just wondering if anyone else has had the same issues, and maybe could help me resolve my problem!

Firstly, the set up is...

Prof Sat Nav in a 2006 Z4 Roadster, with Hi-Fi Loud Speaker, and I'm using a 3rd Generation Nano with Firmware 1.1.3, the DICE is set up with all the Dipswitches in the OFF position...

I ripped up the carpet, disconnected the battery (neg terminal), then hooked the DICE up, reconnected the battery and tested the DICE!

The music is playing but I cant change tracks, basically if I change the track everything stops playing, unless the track number is even, but even then it'll just keep playing the song it was playing originally, so it kind of works like a mute button more than anything! I cant change the album I'm listening to either, is this because I have too many albums and the DICE only handles 6 (number of CD's you can select on the stereo)?

Thanks,
Tom

Maybe I'm just not using the thing correctly...

I'll try again a little later, any chance anyone could tell me the best text setting? All I get at the moment is the Speed Dial Display, hitting the menu button just flashes to the menu and back to the Speed Dial again, so I cant get the Sat Nav up or My Phonebook :(

Welcome to the world of DICE ...

Can not help you with this one as I have the Intravee, but there are some specific settings required for DICE to get it to work. It is a bit of a hit and miss unit.

Good luck!

This now works without any issues! Just needed to disconnect and reconnect the battery!

Everything is working as it should!!!

There are flaws with this BUT working as a software developer, theres always going to be flaws in everything, there will never be a 100% perfect system! But the DICE does what I need, I would recommend it...
