Need comments on New Wheels

Ok, I am new to the Z4. I am use to 4x4's and such.

My Z has 16" wheels and most of your really nice looking cars have 17" or above wheels.

I have been looking at the 17's.

I have numerous questions on this subject:

1. 17" or 18"
2. How with this change the suspension geometry? ie. handling?

I plan on getting rid of the runflats. I don't like them, but the car handles like superconducting magnets are built into the car. Comments on this change?

If you like the handling at the moment, you'll love it with a decent set of of non-runflat tyres...

I'd go for 18" if I were looking to change. I think even with 18s, some wheels can look lost in the large arches on these cars. Have you got any wheels in mind? Post them up!

I changed mine from 18 to 19 and it handles great,I still have the 18's if you want to bolt them on and try them, they still have the runflats on them but it would give you input on handling.Non run flats are the way to go.

Yes these are are the AR1's, staggered set up. Just a note: these are rims that aren't easy to clean, I installed Axxis Deluxe pads (very little brake dust). The lips come nice and clean but I removed the clearcoat on them and hand polished (a long winter project). The hand polishing is difficult and dirty, but the results are phenominal.

The caliper faces were buffed smooth and coated with G2 enamel. The rest of the caliper surface was not polished but chemically and mechanically cleaned for improved paint adhesion. The decals are brushed aluminum mylar(eBay) . The springs were polished and chromed.
