Nectar points scam

I use BP garages for fuel at work and collect the nectar points but have noticed differences on my points level. I checked a couple of receipts and noticed different card numbers to my card. So, looks like the tosser behind the till is collecting my points on a different card, has anyone else noticed/had this happen. I know it's not masses of money, but the points do/should add up.
 
How do they do it? I thought once you swiped your fuelcard any points, discounts, benefits etc would automatically be allocated to your card? Obviously the person at the till is not paying for your fuel, so how do they collect your points?
 
They must have a secret way of swiping their card as I normally watch them and my card is always in his hand, I'm going to ask the garage manager why my 2 receipts from his garage have 2 different card numbers when I only produce my same card.
I'm also going to say that I have reported this to Salisbury's Nectar points and they said this is fraud and they will be investigating, just to see if it sh1ts them up.
