Near-Side Mirror Glass Fell Out!

I was driving last night and heard a crash as I was coming out of a roadabout, the mirror glass had fallen out of my near-side wing mirror! As it was dark and wet on a main road, I didn't bother looking for the debris, as I heard it smash on the road.

The wing mirror now looks like this:



Has this happened to anyone else? Any idea how much to expect to fix it? Any quick and easy solutions I can do myself so I can use the car sooner rather than later?

Just be thankful its not auto dimming like mine! (But I dont think these fall off so easily)

A mate had to buy a dimming glass as his it got hit by a cyclist.... they are £140+ just for the glass!! :thumbsdown: :thumbsdown:

happened to me too ,but was lucky it happened while i was washing it so just stuck it back on,the other side didnt take to much effort to come off either .
