Not in a car, but some dickhead in a gold Audi TT did hit me when I was on my bike last week. (Me and the bike are fine).

To be fair, he probably did try and move out of the way and it was the crippling Audi understeer that prevented it ;)

LoL   Hope you did some damage to the Audi.

..... Never had them purposely pull out though?

I think your probably right, they don't deliberately pull out - more likely they just don't see! The car is much lower than the norm and as such they dont look properly - I think the Daytime lights help a bit. I first used them on a Saab Turbo I bought way back in the 80's - I'm sure they helped a lot way back then but now every other car seems to have them so it tends to reduce their impact.

Belgium - one of the worst places for drivers about.

I completely agree! Having driven thousands of miles through Europe the very worst drivers with respect to aggressive and wreckless driving have 'B' on their number plates. The second worst have 'NL'

I have always owned an SUV in addition to all the sports car I've ever owned, and there have been several.Didn't take me long to realize the fact that other drivers will usually hesitate before pulling out in front of a larger vehicle.

When I'm driving a sports car other drivers just naturally figure that #1 I'm not going to take a change of wrecking my sports car.#2 if we have a collision I am sure to have auto insurance.

Road Rage use to come easy for me but as I age I've calmed down and instead of flipping someone off or trying to get even with the other driver I just say, "I guess he didn't see me." Keep in mind there is a lot of sarcasm when I say that. Hubby laughs at me but seriously he is glad my Road Rage days are over.
