NC BMW CCA & ZSCCA OBX Cruise. Day 1 and Day 2,3

Arrived in New Bern NC for a weekend of Z cruisin. My new Falken 452's were great, 9 hours of driving in the M seats was not as bad as I thought either. This event was set up by Rich Broughton and his wife Claire (Chris Cane was also there to help). We have about 50 Z3's and Z4's all together participating. Tonight had a silent auction with many great items donated for a good cause, Parkinsons Disease, all proceeds going to Duke Medicine. Saturday finds us going to the Fountain Power Boat Factory. First a tour then we actually get taken out for a ride aboard a Fountain. :driving:

Ship, I had this posted under meets. The ZSCCA site has a lot of upcoming events both before and after Homecoming. Membership is not required to participate. The Maggie Valley run in the Fall is a big one that we have done the last two years and have planned to attend again this year. JBZ4
 
Ship, we met a couple from Virginia Beach tonight that made the drive out. Have a good weekend. :driving:
 
Started out the day with a tour of the Fountain Boat factory. They manufacture some incredible boats. After the tour, rides were available to all. I gotta say this was the first time I have ever been over 70 knots on the water. :thumbsup:

Last day, saw everyone together in the morning for a group shot and then a drive to Morehead City for a visit to the NC aqarium and lunch to end the weekend. $12,000.00 dollars was raised for Duke Medicine for the cure for Parkinsons Disease.

I don't think so! You guys are always doing great drives. It kills me too, your always going to all the great places we have visited IN THE RENTAL CAR. :driving:
