This thread is purely for the pre-booking of Rooms at The Crooklands Hotel .

Since some have already booked via the hotel,or through booking.com,can All those wanting a room for next year's National,Lakes and Dales meet please phone The CROOKLANDS on 01539 567432,

Otherwise it will get confusing ,as to who has and hasn't booked one of the 12 reserved rooms,Cheers.

As per this year,I have got a 10% ( or better) Discount on Standard Room Rates,which are better than booking.com,etc,as like for like,they don't include Breakfast for the same cost as our Discounted rates :D

RATES ARE AS FOLLOWS......(with our Discount applied)

STANDARD/CLASSIC DOUBLE ROOM,2 PERSON OCCUPANCY IS £90 per night,Inc. Breakfast. (Normally £100/nt.)
STANDARD/CLASSIC DOUBLE ROOM,SINGLE PERSON OCCUPANCY IS £65 per night,Inc.Breakfast. (Normally £75/nt.)

DELUXE,DOUBLE ROOM, 2 PERSON OCCUPANCY Is £103.50 Per Night,Inc.Breakfast (Normally £115/nt.)
DELUXE,DOUBLE ROOM, SINGLE PERSON OCCUPANCY IS £78.50,Per Night,Inc.Breakfast ( Normally £90/Night)

I HAVE RESERVED 6 CLASSIC/STANDARD DOUBLE ROOMS AND 6 DELUXE DOUBLE ROOMS,12 IN TOTAL.

SOME PEOPLE HAVE ALREADY BOOKED....

AS THEY ARE FILLING UP FAST,I SUGGEST THOSE WANTING ONE GET THEIR NAMES DOWN ASAP...
AS THEY ARE DISCOUNTED ROOM RATES,YOU NEED TO PAY IN ADVANCE,WHEN YOU PHONE THE CROOKLANDS AND GIVE THEM YOUR FULL NAMES,CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD DETAILS AND MENTION THE BOOKING FROM CRAIG BOLTON, Z4- FORUM.

THE REASON THEY TAKE PAYMENT UPFRONT IS SO PEOPLE TURN UP,YET WE HAD 2 people this year who were booked in,one for Friday night,and one for Saturday night only,who had Paid,but did not show!!
Likewise with the Campsite,one no show!! :headbang:

So get your rooms booked soon.....they are keeping the ROOMs for us until 2 weeks before,but I have a feeling they will be long gone by then,haha.

I will start a SEPERATE thread for Campsite and the Meet itself when I get a chance,but will be in the near future :thumbsup: :driving:

Wow, early start for the next year's 8th national meet. :)
Can't understand why people want a hotel room when you have the Waters Edge campsite next door with the sound of it's gentle stream to soothe you to sleep. OK, the sound of running water will have your bladder twitching after 30 minutes of going to bed and the 100 meter walk to the toilet block is fun in the dark, but you are having camping fun. :rofl:

Just a wee bump for this.

Can anyone who has booked a room as part of the block reservation I have made back in July,please let me know,as I am being told people have booked rooms,as part of our group,but not let me know,so I can update the list folks. Cheers :thumbsup:
 
To confirm, we will have to skip this one due to it falling on my sons birthday, however we will hopefully do the other two you have pencilled Craig :wink:
 
Hi Craig, my wife and I were at the meet at Scartop this morning and someone mentioned the National, we would love to join in. Are there are rooms left from the ones you reserved? We would also like to join in the with Friday night meal and sat bbq if possible.

Yes,there are rooms left Mike.
If you phone and book a room,as per info at start of thread,you need to pay in advance,as they are discounted Standard and Deluxe rooms,including a lovely breakfast.
Then post on here or pm me and let me know you have reserved a room,and for how many nights,room type etc.

Just bringing this Thread to the forefront.....
So those booking rooms,or going to,can put their name down on here,and get info too, cheers :D
 
ALSO POSTED THIS ON THE MAIN THREAD....

BUT THERE ARE JUST 2 ROOMS LEFT FOR THE NATIONAL MEET WEEKEND,as the Hotel had to let go of a couple of our unused rooms ,given its just 2 weeks away.

Now Just 1 Classic and 1 Deluxe room left available, so get them while you can folks :D :thumbsup:

These last two rooms are only available until the week before our meet,i.e Friday the 23rd ofJune,as they will need to free them up by then if we don't take them,cheers :thumbsup:
