As above, just an update on the BMW Carclub mag article I did...the mag is out now(got mine this morning), and its okay, though the new Editor managed to get my name wrong, lol :headbang:
(Its Craig Bolton btw, NOT Chris Bolton, ha-ha).

It has been somewhat edited/shortened in parts and for some reason they have used a lot of similar photos, even though I did include as many of everyones cars as possible, it has ended up with a lot of the same cars in the pics....not up to me, so apologies if any1's car isn't in it...oh, and they credited the photos to just Tom Scott and me(or rather Chris Bolton), when I had credited them to Tom,myself and fellow forum members!!

Despite the flaws this time round, I hope any1 who reads it enjoys it.

As for the other magazine article it will be in BMW CAR, and all going well, will be unedited/a full 2000-words and have a better variety of pics, etc.
BMW CAR OCTOBER ISSUE is out around MID September I am told( I thought originally early Sept.),aprox. 17th/19th Sept. in the shops...so I hope plenty of you get to enjoy reading it too, especially if u were at the National Lakes n Dales meet :driving:

Looking forward to it Craig- thanks for all the hard work gone into it by yourself from what I hear incorrect names and the like is a bit par for the course with straight six.

You are in Ardrossan, along the front near the shore road to W.K? Graeme (d6gmb)says he knows you. I have seen your car about once or twice I think......you me and Graeme will need to go for a wee local drive some time?

Taking stock of my life at the moment Craig and hopefully by next time round I will have found a balance with work that allows me to be happy and enjoy my z4 hobby! Really hate missing the events and thanks again for continuing to organise them.
 
UPDATE....the club has yet to receive my cheque, though I sent it on Monday...so will be sending the mags asap to those who paid me for 1 **( i.e when they get my cheque), as all new staff/Editor/Chairmen in the club these days and don't have the same trust in me, obviously, lol :rofl:

You should all have them by end of next week at the LATEST.

All but two of the pictures on the last spread are mine and a few on the middle one too, good stuff 8)
