20210512_164018.jpgHi,

Due to putting my house on the market and looking at a bigger property I need to but my BMW Z4 SI up for sale. I have only owned this car around 3 months but needs must as given the housing market the next step up is costing a bit more than we first anticipated.

The car itself is a 2006 BMW Z4 2.5 SI Sport and has done 123,250 miles. Since owning the car I have replaced/undertook/installed the following:

Spark Plugs - Changed by myself circa. 200 miles ago
Vanos Solenoids - Changed by myself circa. 1,000 miles ago
Steering Wheel - Refurbished with a furniture clinic kit
New Driver Side Mirror Glass (MOT Advisory from Previous Owner)
New Exhaust Sleeve (MOT Advisory from Previous Owner)
19" CSL Replica Alloy Wheels (These could do with a refurb but are presentable enough for now)
New Moog Front Suspension Arms - To be installed at the Zed Shed on the 07th July (MOT Advisory from Previous Owner)
Gearbox & Diff Oil Change - To be undertaken at the Zed Shed on the 7th July

The car also has the following fitted:
Genuine BMW Roof Deflectors
Gaptech Roof Module (operates from the key)
ZHP Gear Shift
Pioneer Head-Unit (Bluetooth Connectivity for Phone)
Pre-Wired for a Dash Cam
Wheel Spacers (Please note with the 19s the fronts can rub occasionally so I may remove these before the car is sold.

The car is up for sale for £4,250 or very near offers for a quick sale. The car does have some dents/scratches consumerate with age and also some damage to the front bumper from being left in a car-park (photographed). I have been quoted £250 locally to have the front bumper resprayed at a body shop but didn't get the chance to do it in time and if I had done the asking price would be more...

The car itself has partial service history and was last serviced 3 months and 3,000 miles ago (minor service) and has approx. 9 months MOT left. As you will see from the above the car is booked in at the Zed Shed on the 7th July to have a couple of bits done so will be available after that date I just thought I would list here before it gets stuck on Autotrader etc.20210512_164023.jpg20210512_164026.jpg20210512_164032.jpg20210512_164035.jpg20210512_164043.jpg20210512_164048.jpg20210512_164053.jpg20210512_164059.jpg20210512_164103.jpg

So have you fixed all the advisory items?

It will after the 7th July. The brake pipes were only changed 2 years ago so I will be getting them checked when it goes in to the zed shed as I gave had a quick look underneath and they looked fine to me...

The rest will be sorted then or has been sorted already.

Thanks

Hello, I was looking on google for the name of the colour nacht blau, and this post popped up. How funny, I have just bought this car. I think it is from the guy you sold it to in 2021, it is someone from Wales. Not sure if you will see this post, but would be great to have a chat.

The car is not in such a great condition anymore, there is oil everywhere on the engine, looks like the cover gasket and the oil cooler gasket are leaking. The exhaust is incredibly loud, not sure if it was like that, but it is undriveable on the motorway. Just drove it back from Wales, and I had to wear my airpods the whole way, as the droning of the exhaust was unbearable. Maybe it is something I just don't like.

Just as a curiosity, did you install the exhaust, or it was done by someone before you owned it. Looks like the CAT was also removed, because I scanned the car and it gives me an error for the cat2, missing lambda sensors. My plan is to fix all the oil leaks, and replace the exhaust. Oh, and it doesn't have the 19inch wheels anymore, it has the standard 17inch z4 wheels.

The interior is incredibly dirty, it doesn't look like it is more worn than in these pictures, but very very dirty. The steering wheel is also very dirty, and I think whatever it was put on it, the leather, or vinyl, it is done, it feels rubish and soft. The headlights are completely yellow, they are so matted you can't see the shapes inside.

I am happy that I read your post, I didn't know about the Gaptech Roof Module, I just tried it, and it works.
Also very happy that I know the diff and G-box oils are changed, spark plugs and the front arms are relatively new.

Please let me know if you see this, would be nice to say hello, and if you want I can post some pics.

Krisztian
