Seen a few posts online about people moaning about not having a dipstick but havent really seen any kits or retrofits for the N54.
Seeing as I'm going to be doing a rad & cooler overhaul soon thought this might be a good time to check if anyone has done anything of the sort?
Seen Asbjorn done something like this on his oil pan where he had a point welded in to his pan and then used a random dipstick for it.
This will be useful as once i get to the interior of the car i'll be ditching all the Idrive and speed for possibly an Aim setup.. although they may have oil level readings on them i still prefer the reliable way of check a dipstick over relying on a sensor..
Just found some welders near me but they dont really do motorsport stuff but should be an issue as their work looks good and high quality from the pictures I've seen.
