My Z4

Hi all I bought a Z4 a couple of months ago and finally i have it the way i want it the paint is like glass to the touch and all the areas that need checking have been check ie the roof drains and front scuttle drains under the wipers which was full of leaves dirt and other lovely stuff, i have clayed, washed, polished, waxed the whole car and cleaned and weather proofed the roof, i have replaced a few parts including the gear knob as the one it came with looked and felt cheap, replaced the pollen filter to which half a tree fell out on to my freshly hoovered carpet :headbang: i had a new coolant expansion tank fitted as the old one cracked and i retro fitted the aux to the car.

A bit about my car its a 2004 (54) 2.2l SE, it has the Hifi professional radio, 6 CD changer, factory bluetooth, heated seats, steering wheel controls, electric roof, auto dim mirrors and the original BMW first aid kit. it has every option i wanted apart from cruise control which i have checked and the wiring is already there all i need to do is find the stalk for sale and ill have every option.

i have attached some photos (hopefully they will be on here) just to show the car and some of the cleaning i have done, recently taking off all 4 wheels to clean down the wheel arches and wheels properly i love every aspect of cleaning my car and will spend hours on it bit of a mad obsession if im honest.

Sorry for the long post just wanted to finally make a post about my car for anyone who is interested.

Wow that is one clean Z4 OP. :thumbsup:

I wish I could be as enthusiastic about cleaning mine as I am about driving it! Are you anywhere near me? :rofl:

Thanks all for replying I'm not sure what I like most driving it or cleaning it either way it's my pride and joy only had it 2 months and can honestly say I can't imagine me ever selling it it's not the most perfect car it has a couple of issues and the paint isn't that perfect has a few scuffs here and there but still can't ever see myself parting with it

hello & welcome it looks lovely just like mine when i got it - the Pre FL in Ti Sillver is a classic look for sure
