Also heard that Gpower is around 300-310 HP .
Just go for dyno and you will know how many HP you have :) What petrol are you using PB95 or PB98 ?

I did on my car and outcome =323 HP (Vortech kit - ESS Tuning).

Have had for bout 10 years. Just turned 100k. Still runs flawlessly. Done normal maintinance. But would like more power...(who doesn't!). Do not want to turbo.
Would like a follow up on a long term experience.
Also am looking to upgrade Flintstone stoppers!

I’ve had my supercharger for 2 years now, and it’s fantastic.

I’ve had a few people drive it and they all comment that it is a really well balanced addition to the M54 and makes it an awesome drive.

As per my original post, I had some set up challenges, and it can still have a temperamental monument when cold, but that’s part of the character :-)

It eats fuels (about 16mpg around town), and I’ve changed the oil regularly, but aside from that, mechanically it needs very little. I do run it on 99ron - anything less and it gets a bit grumpy.

I’ve added some other upgrades as well, including a shorter final ratio diff which will affect both performance and fuel economy, so others may have slightly different experiences, but I’d say if you have the money and the desire, it’s a brilliant upgrade.

Wow! This sounds like just what I'm looking for. Did you do the work yourself or have it done?
I've wrench on my cars all my life its seems but its always been old school stuff.
I've only read about supercharging but I have not experience it personally. What I would be afraid of is how it affects the engine management systems. I hear BMW's can be a bit tricky when one starts to play with them air/fuel mixtures.
So not having access to a tuning shop or any way of knowning if I'm running it too rich or lean, do you recommend that I takes up such a project?
Money isn't the issue. But finding and sourcing all the right parts might be.
Would you entertain the thought of making a comprehesive goodie list? I can provide you with an email or if you aren't opposed to others benefiting from your hard work, just forward your findings.
I'm only limited by my lack of knowledge at this time. But at 65 years, age is catching up quick.
