Yeah it was a used component probably 20 years old. They kept the old water pump in the boot which is really odd and the seller threw it out before I saw the car. I have a slight feeling that the pump was purchased but never actually fitted as there was no invoice for the labour to fit it.Your water pump issue just goes to prove the old saying of buy cheap, buy twice!
But overall I think you have found a great E85. As Tony's database shows less than 700 manual 3.0Si Roadsters came to the UK, so to find one with Amarone leather, piano black trim and Xenons with such low mileage makes it rather special.
