For some time now I've been promising my old Mum that I will spend some time and try to breathe some life back into the looks of her treasured Avus Blue '00/X reg 318ti Sport Compact. Well its been in and out of my garage for about ten days now and it's finally done and to say I'm pleased with the results is somewhat of an understatement. My Mum is absolutely delighted !

For those that are interested on the paintwork I used my old Sealey rotary polisher, various Chemical Guys Hex-Logic Pads, Poorboys World SSR 1, 2, 2.5 and 3, Poorboys Blackhole Glaze and Nattys Black Pastewax. All topped off with 2 coats of Collinite 845.
On the wheels Sonax Full Effect, AG SRP, Poorboys Wheel Sealant and AG Pro Rubber Plus Cleaner. All plastic trim and wheel arch liners etc dressed with AG Pro Super Sheen.
I'm fitting new discs/pads soon and then I'll paint the rusty calipers to complete the transformation. Well you have to look after your Mum don't you ?
