Want to be able to see what I'm playing on the screen...

Ahhh, got you - sorry, just the head units I'm selling on, the screen is staying in the car.

Honestly though, I wouldn't bother retro-fitting the Sat Nav screen into the car - loads of work, loads of expense, not that great a result.

I'd personally look at an after market option - including the android screen that is available and sits where the standard flip up screen would fit if you did have one fitted. You'd need to do some dashboard chopping though.

I have the satnav fitted, but I don't get the names of the tracks or album name because I have the old grey face one.!
So I believe if I put one of the X3 or facelift headunits in I will get it to show up. After the Bluetooth adapter that you pointed out I could have,it's the last piece of the puzzle for my audio setup that will make me happy.
Sooooo, how much for the headunit, pleading poverty and all the heart string twanging stuff?

Lol, sorry, not enough coffee yet - I see what you mean.

I guess you'll need the non-broken one I have then unless you want to source a replacement drive unit for the damaged one.

I'm going to stick with my £120 delivered price until the new year as I've seen a fair few sell for £200 plus on Ebay. Sorry!

Transfering all my CDs to the phone, so having a broken drive wouldn't bother me, as long as it works the radio and the Bluetooth add-on all would be fine!

Ok, no worries - the £60 one should be fine then, though I genuinely can't remember what track info gets sent over that bluetooth device.

If you need matching black vents I have a set of those for sale too - and as I could put both in the same box I can knock £5 off if you buy the two. If you are interested, please add a reply to the correct for sale thread so we can stick to the forum rules

Met a lovely family today, Dad and 2 sons - Dad is a member here albeit not active for many years, one of the sons is now the new owner of my car.

Glad it's gone to such an enthusiastic chap (changing from a FN2 Civic Type R). Always get a bit nervous selling on a car, but I've put a lot of time and effort (and money!) in getting it ship shape so I hope it proves reliable - and the new owner registers here
