My first Z4

Hi all,
I want to introduce myself and my new toy 8)
It is a super rare care in Croatia and a real head turner
This is a 2015 35i imported from the USA which does come with a few challenges, but it was originally imported to Germany and they have solved almost all of the conversions.
The only things left for me to fix are the universal remote control (homelink) with different frequencies for the USA and maybe a brake upgrade as the USA 35i car has the same brakes as the EU 30i.
Besides missing parking sensors (which I plan to retrofit following the AnubisZed video guide), it was a super nicely specced car.

BTW. if anyone can help me decode this stuff on realoem in regards to the homelink frequencies I would be grateful. My local BMW dealer is not sure which one I need https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sh...015-E89-BMW-Z4_35i&diagId=51_7324#51169192319

That's a lovely looking Z4 and as you say will be pretty rare where you live.

Nice colour combination, wow, built in Germany, shipped to the States, then shipped back to Germany and now living in Croatia... what a journey :D

Yea, I respect your opinion. There are many people saying it is nice, and some that say they do not like it.

For me, it adds a bit of color to a gray car with silver or black rims :)

yes, it was a wild one for the car for sure. Not to mention they measured CO2 when it got back in Germany, and it uped a import cost to Croatia quite a bit

update on my car:
I have managed to install the front and rear PDC and coded it in.
Also, I installed BimmerTech MMI, and the car feels completely different with Android Auto. Front and rear cameras also help with parking and it is working nicely with PDC :)
