My dipped beam headlights are high

I don't often drive my E85 in the dark but the last time I did, I kept getting flashed for high headlights. I don't remember this happening before.

I can't find any instructions for adjustment in the handbook. Do I have to use the adjustments under the bonnet or is there an automatic adjustment that I can access?

Could be the headlight level sensor arms. Take look here: https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1972154
Only if it's Xenon.
If you have two adjuster wheels on the light control module they are Halogen.
Check the one for headlight aim is set to '0'.
As a short term measure you can simply wind the adjuster up to '1' or '2'. If you do this against a garage door or wall you will see the lights lower.
In the longer term you ideally need to get the aim adjusted with the adjustment set to '0'.
The point of that adjustment is to compensate for extra weight on the rerar of the car.
Just a thought, you could take the wife's body out of the boot.
