My Cyprus photo thread

Reminds me of happy days in my youth when I used to visit grandparents in Platres every summer.
I would love to spend winters in Cyprus!

Ha! We're spending next weekend in Platres!

Truth be told if you've got the means buying and renting property is very cheap now the way the market has gone. Cost of living is still high compared to Greece for example but it's not bad at all.

My Father grew up in Platres and Limassol.
I remember when then was just one hotel in Limassol - the Miramare.
I would love to eventually retire back to Cyprus ( with my z4! )

Thanks for sharing pics of your beautiful country (although the last couple of posts have been empty - photos don't show).
I had the chance to visit on a free flight (time off when working in Iraq) but didn't want to go on my own, so went to Bahrain instead. Really wished I'd had better timing, I know the other guys who went at different times (always when I was working) had a great time.
