My coupe and its adventures

My mx5 seems to be getting all the attention at the minute so I thought I'd start a thread for my daily as it deserves some attention too. I'll try to keep this updated with pics from when I do use it for more than just commuting and daily chores. For now I'll just put up some pics I've got so far.

I'll put any work I have done in here too so I can keep track of it.

Looks lovely (the Coupe, of course!), particularly like the colour of the interior what I can see of it.

The 4th photo should be in the February competition.

The nova is my mates who I share the unit with its a gsi with the 2.0xe engine in. He's had it about ten years now it's a fun little car and gets so much attention it brings back so many memories for people.

The interior colour was one of the main things that sold me the car, I wanted black, red leather and auto. There were a few cars I looked at like this an audi s4, audi tts, and this one

I really like that photo to I've got exactly the same shot but of the mx5.

The pics are from rivington, evo triangle, near hartside pass, the cat and fiddle

Rivington - that's not far from me in Preston.
I like the black and red comb too

Rivington is literally five minutes from my house it's been my playground for years all the way from back as a kid mountain biking to passing my test and using the great roads for my various cars

It is really good round there I've done it many times before and it never gets boring. I've got a 2.5 hour long loop which incorporates it in to some other amazing roads and I do it when ever I get bored.

Sounds great - could you give me the route, I'd love to give it a go myself one day :driving:

Car looks great, what are your MX5 spec's?

Also liking the Clio 182 Trophy always had a soft spot for those

I'll see if I can figure it out on a map for you I don't know the place names or roads I just know it through years of going to North Wales for drives. Maybe we could organise a run out and I'll show you I've done it a few times where ive taken a small group out. The pic with the other z4 and the two cliosports was on that exact run.

Reading this thread is bringing back fond memories of my youth cycling around Lancashire. Many a weekend spent around Rivington Pike and Winter hill. My favorite used to be Billinge Hill though. :D

My family are all around that area. Sister in Ormskirk Cousins in Burscough and Skemersdale. Now you know why I'm in Cornwall.

Rivington is just round the corner from me too - maybe a future 'meet' destination?

Sounds like a good idea to me as I usually end up travelling miles to get to meets
