My Alpina after a Professional Detail

Some pics of my Alpina after I had it professionally detailed last week to bring it back to as new condition losing all the unsightly swirling and light scratches . . .

Unfortunately the light faded and the rain started before I could get some nice shots with the top down. Hope to get the Alpina roundels and new wheel centres fitted by the weekend to improve it even more.

car looks fantastic  I take it they finished it with a good wet look wax?
Who did you use and what did it cost if you don't mind saying. I want to get mine done eventually and that's the sort of finish I would like

Thanks. I'm really pleased with it. Very definitely sapphire now whereas before it was a bit flat and could have been mistaken for jet (not that there's anything wrong with that colour). :D It was finished with Swissvax Best of Show. There was the option of the £1300 a pot Divine but was advised it was unnecessary as the finish, while befitting the price in the immediate term, doesn't last as well for as long. I used a guy I knew from the Lotus forum I frequent as I've seen examples of his work over the past year or so and he always does a fantastic job. Very enthusiastic and friendly and works to whatever you want to have done. You can find out more about his work and his pricing here:-

I didn't really have an 'a la carte' detail done - just told him was I wanted doing and paid him for the time he took to do it (about 10 hours).

Unfortunately for you Paul's based in the South (near Reading). He will and does travel around the country but it won't be cheap coming up to you unless you could find a couple of other people in the north west that he could do at the same time. Alternatively he might well know of someone in the north he would recommend though so worth asking.

Very nice ride.. 8)

Can I have your rear spoiler?? :pinch:

Let's make it an auction!

You've got a great car there (If I was wealthy, I'd find a LHD Alpina version and have it shipped from Europe. Just love it)
