My 108s are Scuffed :( Absolutely gutted (large images enc)

Not sure when it happened, but from the looks of the damage it happened on a curb and I would have definately noticed if it happened when I was driving.

Do you think that a refurb will be able to sort this damage out?

that dont look too bad TBH, but get it sorted before it starts to corrode.

most refurb places should be able to sort that.

same, i wouldnt worry too much about that. it might cost you about £40 or so to put right.

i still know how you feel though! i scuffed my bumper when i first got the car nd it felt like my child had just been shot  (not that i have one) i was nearly sick lol

Just got a quote back from a local refurber and to split them and refurb all four it's gonna cost £400!

AND, he's apparently not supposed to split them because they don't know the torque to put them together again and I'd have to sign a disclaimer.

Then it would be between 1 day and a 1 week depending on how easily they come apart.

Why did I have to have the one with the fancy wheels

Easy fix. Looks like you've ground it along a kerb for a foot. It will be simply sanded out and lacquered.
I split the rims at will refurb and put them back together as do several others.

£400 is probably the ballpark for a top quality job but you don't need to do all 4 unless they are messed up

I'd be at least as worried about parking the nose over kerbs :poke:

I don't need all four doing, although I'd probably get the rear one on the same side done too because that has a mark on it.

I think the difference here is that I'm talking about a full refurb and I guess the suggestion is that I could get them repaired.

Any suggestions who I could talk to about a repair?

That is just a bit more than I paid.
You could take the oppertunity to spice them all up a little... :D

They do look great.

I'm torn between going the whole hog or just getting them repaired.

There's so many more things I'd prefer to do with £400 at the moment.

You don't need to spend that kind of money. I got a 108 repaired with the same amount of damage and it cost be £65. My dealer got it sorted for me so go and ask them they will sort it or put you in touch with someone who will know what they are doing and not get their arm in.
