Not sure if this will be of interest here, but at 80 years young my Mum has decided a 2 seater is no longer everyday transport. I have spent the last month just tidying it up (deep clean, leather reconditioned, removing private number plate etc). I have been running it around locally, have to say smiles per mile ratio is very high.
£4500 inc hard top and shiny bits and spare wheels.
It’s a very late 2005 model (24th December must have been a nice Xmas present for someone)
Sport version with limited slip diff, 6 speed and Bilstein suspension.
73,785 miles which will may increase a little as it’s such good fun.
MOT till March 2025.
Factory hard top with heated rear screen (inc storage bag) and trims for reverting back to soft top only - this maybe sold separately.
3 previous owners with my Mom owning for the last 13+ years.
Massive folder of all the services and invoices dating back to the original purchase, including recent clutch slave and master cylinder, thermostat, service, coolant change and brake fluid.
Alloys were refurbished a couple of years back in grey a couple do have a little curb rash (she is 80!) but have 4 matching Dunlop sport tyres on with +6mm of tread.
Headlights refurbished and sealed with Sonax headlight sealer.
No major damage to the bodywork, I am going to give it a machine polish in the next couple of week but clearly it’s not going to be perfect at nearly 19 years old.
Interior is in very good condition with the only notable blemishes being the drivers door which has a little bit of ring damage.
Currently has some nice shiny bits attached including.
Genuine Mazda chrome fuel cap (NLA and seem to command strong money on eBay).
Genuine Mazda illuminated sill covers.
Genuine Mazda chrome roll over covers.
Original Mazda mats.
IL motorsport chrome door handles, 3rd brake light cover and quarter glass trim
Combined interior mirror, dash-cam and rear view camera - now removed but have it boxed up.
Genuine MX5 ND gear knob (original has been refurbished and maybe/can be swapped over).
Xcarlink iPod interface, works with steering wheels controls and has a 3.5mm input also.
2 spare wheels with good tyres in silver.
Rear parking sensors.
Rust wise, very clean underneath, the advisory on the last MOT has been addressed with the area cleaned off, rust treated with Jenolite and stone chipped (also Jenolite) and while I was there I did some preventative work also.
Soft top is in good condition, no damage having seen very little weather in the last 6 years with the hard top in play.
Located in Solihull, and is been transferred into my name and address on the V5.
